    About Us

    Message from Our Chapter President

    Rev. Sheriolyn Curry Hodge, MDiv

    President’s Message

It is with deep gratitude and great anticipation that I greet you as the President of the Phoenix Metropolitan Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc.

Since our chartering on November 14, 2015, with forty-six dynamic women of purpose, this chapter has stood as a beacon of advocacy, service, and leadership in the Valley. Our founders set a standard of excellence, and we continue to walk boldly in their footsteps while charting new paths forward.

Together, we remain steadfast in our mission to advocate on behalf of Black women and girls in the areas of health, education, economic empowerment, and civic engagement. These four pillars are more than program areas—they are the lifeblood of our work, the places where transformation takes root, and where hope turns into lasting change.

Our chapter recognizes the urgency of this moment. Across our communities, the need for strong, compassionate, and principled leadership is greater than ever. As an organization, we embrace our responsibility to mobilize, educate, and empower, ensuring that Black women and girls are not only at the table but are shaping the agenda. Through advocacy, coalition building, and intentional leadership development, we are preparing today’s women and nurturing tomorrow’s leaders.

As President, I am honored to serve alongside the extraordinary women of this chapter—visionaries, professionals, mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends—each committed to making an impact with passion and purpose. Our collective power is strong, but our greatest strength lies in the way we uplift one another and create opportunities for those who will come after us.

The work before us is not easy, but it is sacred. It is our charge to continue dismantling barriers, building bridges, and ensuring that Black women and girls thrive in every sphere of life. I invite you to partner with us—whether through collaboration, support, or participation—as we continue to move forward with boldness and purpose.

With humility and determination, I look forward to this next chapter in our journey. The Phoenix Metropolitan Chapter will keep rising, keep serving, and keep leading—with the unshakable belief that when Black women succeed, entire communities flourish.

    In service and sisterhood,

    Rev. Sheriolyn Curry Hodge, MDiv
